INFINITI sought to launch new brand positioning for INFINITI around their core values of ‘human’, ‘daring’ and ‘forward-thinking’, and to deploy a marketing strategy that would attract customers with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Sheelpa collaborated with VCs, government bodies and innovation partners to deliver the first corporate accelerator programme for INFINITI. This expanded to a range of global programmes and thought leadership events, catering to every stage of an entrepreneur’s journey. Global marketing and internal engagement campaigns attracted outstanding startup talent and mentors to INFINITI LAB.

Sheelpa personally mentored INFINITI LAB startups that include founders in Autonomous Driving, Connected Car, AR and VR. She provided business development advice and guided pitch practices in advance of investor demo days.

What began as a local marketing initiative at Infiniti HQ in Hong Kong scaled into a global platform for brand, business and cultural transformation. Within three years, INFINITI LAB generated USD 8m of organic media coverage.

The program generated tangible business outcomes leading to Proofs of Concept (POCs) with INFINITI and Nissan. The first ‘INFINITI Intrapreneur’ programme saw 30 employees win an opportunity to pitch their ideas to INFINITI’s executive team, with three achieving funding.
